Subject: Pegasus Mail v4.0... *sigh* delayed (sorry)
Well, it's the 17th (somewhere in the world) and today is the day that
Pegasus Mail v4.0 was going to hit the streets.
Unfortunately, for the last ten days I have had a serious problem with my
wireless Internet link that resulted in me getting only about 2 hours
connectivity each day. This, combined with a spate of last-minute details
picked up by my vigilant and much under-appreciated beta test team has
meant that it's simply not possible to make a release today. I'm now
confident, however, that we can make a release on Monday August 27th.
I appreciate that this is going to be disappointing for many people, so to try
and sweeten the pill a little, I've put together a file containing some screen
shots and commentary about v4.0 - it's a ZIPfile about 500K in size,
containing an RTF document that can be viewed in either Word or
WordPad. If you are interested, you can retrieve this file using this URL:
The preview is no longer available on the web
Once again, I'm sorry about the delay, but I really want to make sure that
the release is right, and I'd sooner delay a little longer if it means I can be
more sure of that. Thanks for bearing with me, and for understanding - I
assure you this is even more frustrating for me than it is for you... *sigh*.
Cheers!
