Pegasus Mail v4.0 will be released publicly for a short preview period on August 17th, going into unrestricted release a short time after that (probably on or about August 24th).

The initial v4.0 release will have about 70% of the functionality I announced in December last year - the most notable omissions being the calendaring/scheduling module and the new addressbook format. While both are well into development, we would prefer to spend a little longer getting these components right before releasing them. We anticipate a v4.1 release containing these additions before the end of 2001.

I can only apologize that it has taken so long to get to this stage - it was certainly never my intention for the release to drag out like this. But I feel the new version is the best we've ever offered, and hope you will like it.
