Please note that if you currently use a translated version of Pegasus Mail v3.x, you will need to move a file called PEGASUS.INI out of the directory where Pegasus Mail is installed prior to running the v4.0 preview. V3.x translation DLLs are not usable with v4.0 and will cause crashes.

There's actually meant to be some version checking in Pegasus Mail to make sure that the translation DLL is the proper version, but for some reason that doesn't seem to be working. Simply removing PEGASUS.INI from the install directory (keep it somewhere safe in case you want to revert to v3.12c) will fix the problem.

As an alternative, you can start v4.0 with the commandline

WINPM-32 -X EN

This is a new option in v4.0 that forces it to start with the English resources. The commandline will override the INI file. Please note that this commandline will not work as expected in v3.x.
