19-Apr-2003:   The following items are changed/fixed for version 4.11:

  • Should correctly import all POP/SMTP settings from previous versions, including POP-before-SMTP authentication, multi-identity check flags and POP3-based SMTP logins.
  • Should no longer have problems with downloading unread mail when using imported POP definitions.
  • Will allow drag and drop of messages onto extensions, notepads and all other places where it was possible in v4.02 and earlier.
  • Will correctly perform list-add operations in POP3 server-side- filtering rule sets.
  • Should no longer crash when you attempt to open a search result in a folder that has a grouped view active.
  • Will remember the age range in the search dialog when specifying searches within particular numbers of days.
  • Should no longer mess up existing single-user-mode installations when you do an upgrade with the "create default user environment" option selected in the installer.
  • Will not crash if you try to send mail when no SMTP definition is active.
  • Should now work correctly when using the "Use the credentials from this POP3 definition" option for SMTP authentication
  • Has amended search logic that will work correctly with folders that use a grouped view. The search should also work properly now - if the located message is in a closed group, the group should open and the message should be selected and opened from within it.
